This is a guide and pattern to create this Protect Trans Kids Quilt.

Never tried Fabric Paper Piecing before? This guide is fully illustrated and you will just need a few things to get your started.

Protect Trans Kids Guide & Quilt Pattern

This is a quilt pattern created in Foundation Paper Piecing.

Turn it into a wall hanging, quilt or flag.

Finished size: 55cm x 82.5cm

What is Foundation Paper Piecing: 

Quilting created with a sewing machine. 

The pattern is printed onto a sheet of foundation paper. 

Fabric is cut to a larger size that you need and matched right sides together on the right side of the paper and sewn on the back - following the lines. The seam is trimmed, folded open, ironed and repeated.

Once each block is complete they are sewn together in columns or rows before all being sewn together and turned into a wall hanging or something else!

What you will need:

Foundation Paper - it is a little like tissue paper - when printed on, you can see the pattern on both sides.

Rotary Cutter 

Quilting Ruler/Square

Cutting Mat

Sewing Machine

Unpicker

Iron and ironing board

A light box/somewhere light to see through pattern and fabric.

Cotton/Cotton Mix fabric in Light Blue, Light Pink and White.
