Sequin Kaftan Guide

This kaftan is designed to be a quick make and easily made for any size.

While making it you will try it on to mark where you would like the waistband.

You can use any fabric, I love a duvet cover, as you get a lot of fabric for your money.

Please note:

Some sequin fabric will require the seams to be overlocked.

If it frays easily - overlock, if it doesn't fray - don't!

If using sequin fabric, make sure you have a spare pack of sewing machine needles nearby. Just in case!

You will get sequins everywhere - how exciting.

Choose your sequin fabric wisely! Some sew up easily, some do not.

You will need:

2m for a short version or 3m of sequin fabric - optional use any fabric you would like!

Tape Measure

Sewing Machine

Scissors

Pins

Yarn or ribbon

Optional: 4m bias binding or make your own.

Beads for the tie.
