Last night I held our Second Crappy Craft Club where we made Crappy Halloween Decorations and my heart is full of crafty goodness.
It was so much fun! Twenty people turned up on a rainy Monday and crafted their hearts out, it was so much fun!
I started Crappy Craft Club as I wanted a craft evening that there was no pressure and people could just rock up and make something fun. Nearly all the materials I use are from Recreate Scrap Store - where I volunteer once a week, I help out and tidy up and ask all the customers what they are making. It is loads of fun and being surrounded by all these materials, which would have ended up in a landfill, I am always inspired.
So far we have done: Crappy Bunting, Crappy Halloween Decorations. In November we are making a Crappy Bunch of Flowers with a vase and in December we are making Crappy Christmas Decorations. - this sold out super quick so we have added a second date at our new studio in The Corp!
One of the tools we have frequently used at our Crappy Craft Club is the Anywhere Screw Hole Punch Tool. We found ours in Hobby Craft and you can buy it here. We like using it as it does what it says! It has three different sized punches which you can store in the handle!
